Teeth Alignment and Veneers

An attractive smile with straight, white teeth is affordable and achievable at Better Dental!

Teeth Alignment and Veneers

Straight, white and perfectly shaped teeth make you smile more and it's the perfect confidence boost! A perfect smile makes you look younger and can make you more successful in your business and personal life.

Unfortunately, most of us are not blessed with that perfect smile by nature alone, and crooked teeth are commonplace. This is not only an issue of aesthetics, but sometimes crooked teeth can lead to more decay and jaw problems.

Our dentists have a keen eye for aesthetics and are trained to make teeth look fantastic. It's never too late to get your teeth straighter, whiter, and just the way you want them!

Veneers

Get the perfectly shaped, straight, white teeth without orthodontics!

Veneers are shells that are attached permanently to the outside of teeth and they can really transform your smile instantly, without removing any or very little tooth structure. They come in different materials and are made to look very natural, they can make the teeth look like young teeth if your teeth have worn down or they can make your teeth look straighter, without actually going through the process of straightening.

All our veneers:

  • Require no or minimal tooth structure removal

  • Are layered in different colours to achieve a very natural look

  • Can change the colour of teeth

  • Make imperfect teeth look perfect

  • Can close gaps or visually straighten teeth

  • Last between 10-20 years or more depending on the type

  • Can be repaired and replaced

We offer composite resin veneers, Edelweiss™ veneers, and ceramic veneers in different materials. They are all made with attention to detail and with superb craftsmanship and artistry to suit you individually and achieve your perfect smile.

Orthodontics

Tooth straightening with clear aligner technology that gets results fast!

If you are happy with your tooth shape and wish your teeth were straighter, then orthodontic treatment is a great way of doing this. We first discuss what you want to achieve to make sure we select the right option for your concern. Then we take dental records, which includes certain measurements through photos, x-rays, and a digital scan of your teeth. Once we have done our analysis, we get you back to show you what results we can expect after the treatment is completed. It's as simple as that!

SureSmile™ and Invisalign™ clear aligners are:

  • Virtually invisible

  • Comfortable

  • Easy to clean teeth and aligners

  • Removable

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Let us help answer the most common questions you might have.

It's never too late. 50% of all orthodontic treatment is done on adults! Talk to our dentists about what we can do for you!

It's not too late, but it does mean that the implant itself (artificial root grown into the bone) cannot be moved, However, the teeth around it can be, and there are different solutions to still make it work.

Unlike with braces, there are no wires or visible metallic bits, only a thin plastic called "clear aligner" covering your teeth and gripping them. You get a certain number of aligners that you wear in sequence, and each new one pushes your teeth slightly into the right direction. For the treatment to work you need to wear it all the time. Only for eating and brushing your teeth, you would remove the aligners. We do regular checks to make sure the treatment is progressing well.

As a patient, you only see the crowding, but there are many factors at play, which are not always obvious and need expert analysis: The bony facial structures and how tooth movement influences the shape of your face and the position of your lips, the bone holding the teeth in place and the effects on your jaw joint... and these are just the top of the list.

There are many things that can go wrong. It can be like a house of cards: Even if you do get straight teeth, they may get loose or stick out of the bone, your lip may stick out too much or too little, or you may have constant jaw pain. And if something goes wrong, who is there to help if you are doing this online? The dollars you may save might end up costing you a lot more. Talk to our dentists and go the safe option.

If cost is a concern, we have ways of spreading out the cost for you with staggered payments.

Clear aligners: The costs vary greatly depending on how many aligners we need to get your teeth straight. We will give you a detailed quote during our consultation and you typically pay in split payments over the course of the treatment. We also have Zip and Afterpay, which breaks down the cost into more affordable chunks.

Veneers: The costs vary depending on how many veneers we are making, on the complexity of the treatment (i.e. layering of colours) and the materials. Talk to our dentists to find out more.

This can be typically done in 1-3 appointments, depending on the type of veneers.

Mildly crooked teeth can take only a few months to resolve, whereas more complicated movements can take 18 months or longer.

Veneers are pain-free and we don't even need numbing. Straightening can put some pressure on your teeth initially and when a new aligner is fitted, but it's just pressure and noting a single dose of paracetamol can't fix, but most people don't even require that. The pressure eases within a day or two.

We'll straighten things out for you.

Let's create your perfect smile!
