COVID-19 Safety Measures

Updated 17 March 2021

All dental treatments are available again!

The health and well-being of our patients, our staff and our community is and always will be our highest priority. Based on the advice of the Dental Board of Australia, we can offer all dental treatments again.

However, level 1 restrictions apply. This means we cannot treat anyone currently infected with COVID-19, recently recovered from COVID-19 (less than 3 weeks), or anyone who has been in contact with an infected person and has been advised to self-isolate. If you are in this category, we can help arrange treatment for you at specialised facilities.

Additional precautions at Better Dental to keep you safe

We have put additional precautions and protocols in place, so we can best protect you, abide by the social distancing rules and help our community in stopping the spread:

We screen everyone before appointments and immediately upon arrival

Hand disinfection is required on arrival and entering treatment rooms

Patients are given disinfectant mouth rinse before each procedure

Our waiting room's seating conforms to social distancing requirements

All rooms are regularly and thoroughly disinfected throughout each day

Magazines and the children's play area have been temporarily removed

All of our other routine world-class infection control measures apply, as they have always. This includes, for example, disinfection of the room after each patient and electronic sterile instrument tracking for each patient and procedure.

We want to reassure you that we constantly monitor the evolving situation nationally and worldwide. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask our friendly staff. Our dental practice is one of the safest places, because we know infection control inside-out. We love looking after you.
